The 40th annual Scientific Meeting of the American Society of Retina Specialists is scheduled for July 13-16, 2022, in New York. The venue is the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center located at 429 11th Avenue.
Registration remains open for both the live meeting and the virtual component of the meeting.
Registration for the in-person event includes mobile app access with a live stream feed and access to recording for 1 month after the meeting, paper and poster sessions, paper on demand offerings, film festival, exhibit hall tradeshow, the Welcome Reception, refreshment breaks, daily lunch, and the Gala Dinner.
Registration for the virtual component includes mobile app access with a live stream feed and access to recording for 1 month after the meeting of the scientific symposia in the General Session Room only and papers on demand, films, and e-posters.
The following is a sampling of the offerings for attendees. All events occur in Eastern standard time.
Programming kicks off with a Retina Case Conference from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Wednesday’s events will wrap up with an opening reception at Cipriani 42nd Street from 6:30 pm to 10 pm.
The proceedings gear up with Opening Comments from 8-8:05 am, followed by a Wet AMD Symposium (8:05-9 am) and Dry AMD Symposium (9-9:30 am).
The day’s programming will continue with a Diabetic Retinopathy 1 Symposium (10:10-11:10 am) and Surgery Symposium 1 (11:10 am-12:05 pm).
The afternoon’s sessions kick off with the Instructional Course: ASRS Research and Therapeutics (ReST) Committee Symposium - Clinical Trials "Unplugged" - Real, Practical Questions and Answers (12:05-1:20 pm). An instructional course titled Vitreoretinal Surgical rounds will be held simultaneously.
