Virtual EURETINA 2021 registration open: 4 days, 5 channels

Registration is open for this year’s EURETINA 2021 virtual programme, extending to 4 days of content across 5 parallel channels from September 9 to 12.

Early fees are available until Tuesday 31 August. Delegates may register for the virtual congress until 12:30 pm Central European Summer Time (CEST) on Sunday 12 September.

“This year marks the society’s 21st annual congress and our second in virtual format,” said Prof Frank G. Holz, EURETINA President. “Thanks to the hard work of the board and programme committee, we anticipate a dynamic meeting.”

Programming includes 16 EURETINA sessions; 22 symposia; 44 instructional courses; 85 hours of content, and more than 300 speakers.

  • Saturday 11 September: Gisbert Richard Lecture 2021: “Visual acuity following retinal detachment surgery” by Prof. Heinrich Heimann, MD, Liverpool, UK
  • Saturday 11 September: Kreissig Award Lecture: “Neuroprotective strategy for non-arteritic central retinal artery occlusion” by Ogugua Okonkwo, MD, FRCS (Edin), FASRS, Nigeria
  • Saturday 11 September: Ophthalmologica Award Lecture: “Serous business: Dissecting the broad spectrum of diseases with subretinal fluid in the macula” by Prof. dr. Camiel Boon, MD, The Netherlands
