Results from our recent poll regarding AAO 2021 attendance indicate that most ophthalmologists and retina specialists plan to participate in the Annual Meeting in-person.

Poll results: Are you planning to attend the American Academy of Ophthalmology Meeting?

Modern Retina® polled our audience with the following question from October 24, 2021 to November 8, 2021:​ Are you planning to attend the American Academy of Ophthalmology Meeting?

The poll appeared on modernretina.com and was promoted on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Results show a majority of ophthalmologists plan to attend AAO in person.

26 responses were recorded, in total. Of these:

• 50% responded "Yes, I will be there in person"

• 15% responded "Yes, I will attend virtually"

• 35% responded "No, I am unable to attend"
